Nnamdi Kanu faces 5 count charges as against the initial 11 count charges stated by the federal govt.
Justice of the federal high court of Abuja , Justice Binta Nyako has today in court, dismissed 6 out of the 11 count charges stated against Nnamd Kanu on the premise that they lack genuine proof to support the evidence the persecutor adduced.
The court however proceeded with the remaining 5 count charges of border on conspiracy, treasonable felony, publication of defamatory materials and Kanu's importation of goods contrary and punishable under section 47 (2) (a) of the customs and excise management Act cap C45 laws of the federation of Nigeria 2004.
The defendant along with his three wise men pleaded a fresh plea of not guilty. They are to reappear in court on 20th of March.
