According to various sources, he died at a private hospital in Festac town where he had been receiving treatment for about two years now. Apparently he had been unconscious for the past 5 days and was said to be on his way for dialysis in an ambulance when he died at about 2:15 p.m.
He was also scheduled to travel to India this Saturday for further treatment. He was 55 years old and was survived by a wife and three children.
